APRIL - step into a new season of movement and energy awakening

Hello April!


And greetings from sunny Italy.


We travelled over here at the weekend to celebrate both my mother & grandmother's birthdays... and whilst I am not allowed to tell you how old my mom is, I can proudly inform you that my Nonna is now 97.


I wish I could say: "she does Pilates with me, that's her secret!"


But, nah - although I did give her a mini Shiatsu treatment which she seemed to enjoy (and called She-shu) - I am afraid she couldn't care less about it.



The secret to my Nonna's longevity is still kept a secret, but it seems to involve:



1. walking straight ("belly in, chest out" - she used to tell me growing up)


2. never sit down to remove shoes or put trousers on


3. doing all the house chores (which she still does alone)


4. carry her own food shopping three floors up 


5. a glass of red wine a day



With the exception of the last point, it sounds pretty much like Pilates to me!


Postural awareness, Balance, Functional movements and some Weight lifting.

This month's Group Pilates Classes


Our regular Group Pilates classes continue throughout this month, both online and in-person. I have been loving the Community-feel of our sessions at the Church of the Ascension in Blackheath, as they keep bringing new and old neighbours together (although someone admitted they come for the tea!)


 If you are local to us too, I would love to see you there. Otherwise, join us Online, from anywhere.

121 Pilates sessions


If you are new to Pilates, I would be thrilled to introduce you to this wonderful method with a 121 Pilates Session. Available both in-person and online via zoom.


My schedule and availability has just been updated until June 2025, so we can plan a course of classes together shall you wish to have more support and continuity in your practice.

A monthly stretch session designed to support your Shiatsu Treatments or make you discover the benefits of "She-shu" even if treatment is not available to you.


Duration: 60 mins


Description: A few minutes of guided meditation, followed by the stretching of all meridians (the energy channels that run through and across the body). We will move at a gentle pace, increasing full body awareness & flexibility, encouraging a healthier functioning of all internal organs, and bringing balance in the body as a whole.


Level: ALL levels welcome!


Price: £12 drop-in / FREE for members
