(M)OTHERSIDE: THE VILLAGE
A 9 months signature programme for the long game of motherhood.
What if you didn't have to figure out motherhood all on your own?
There is a lot of advice available to mothers.
What there isn't enough of is somewhere to bring it all together.
A place where you can come for practical support, trusted advice, movement, rest, connection and a little space to breathe.
Welcome to The Village.
Doors open 2 November 2026

The Village you deserve, bringing trusted support to you for the long game of motherhood.
So that you don't have to spend your limited time and energy searching for every piece of the puzzle.
We build villages for our children.
But where is ours?
Think about how much we do to support our children.
We book the appointments.
We research the osteopath.
We find the lactation consultant.
We read about sleep and nutrition.
We take them to rhyme time, swimming, gymnastics, football.
We ask questions. We seek advice. We make sure they're getting what they need.
And when it comes to ourselves?
Often, we just... carry on.
Partly because caring for them comes so naturally.
Partly because we don't have the time or energy to put ourselves first.
And partly because the system simply doesn't offer us very much.
After those early postnatal checks, where do we go for ongoing support?
How many official check-ins do we actually get as mothers?
For most of us, one six-week postnatal check is not a village.
And yet motherhood doesn't stop changing at six weeks.
Or six months.
Or when our children start nursery.
We keep changing too.
You shouldn't have to go looking for every piece of the puzzle.
There are wonderful professionals, practitioners and resources out there.
But when you're tired, carrying the mental load and trying to care for everyone else, even finding the right support can feel like another job.
This is why I created The Village.
Instead of asking you to go out there and find all the pieces yourself, I want to bring some of them to you.
All in one trusted place you can return to over nine months for:
-
movement and strength
-
breath and mindfulness
-
postnatal support
-
body awareness
-
practical advice
-
conversations that matter
-
trusted specialists
-
connection with other mothers
-
and somewhere to simply land when you need it.
Not because you need fixing.
Because you deserve support too.
THE VILLAGE ISN'T JUST A NICE THING TO HAVE
It's designed to be useful and it's built around a simple question:
What would actually help a mother?
I don't want to create another beautiful online space for mothers that feels lovely while you're there, but leaves you to figure everything out again when you close your laptop.
I want The Village to be a real source of support.
Because motherhood can be surprisingly lonely when you're the person everyone else relies on.
And if, like me, you live far away from family, you might know this particularly well.
We can be surrounded by people and still feel like we're doing the important bits alone.
There is plenty of information out there. There are brilliant practitioners, books, podcasts, courses and social media accounts.
But when you're already carrying the mental load of a family, having to find, research and organise all that support yourself can be one more thing you simply don't have the capacity for.
That's where The Village comes in.
You don't have to build your Village alone.
If we haven't met yet, hi! I am Chiara.
I'm your host inside The Village.
But no, I don't intend to build a village alone.
I've worked with women's bodies and wellbeing for many years, through Pilates, mindfulness, Shiatsu and postnatal work.
But becoming a mother myself changed the way I understood the work.
I suddenly experienced what it means to need support while also being the person responsible for someone else's every need.
And because my own family lives far away, I know what it feels like when the village you imagined you'd have isn't necessarily there.
That's when I started to understand the gap more deeply.
We are given so much advice about how to care for our children.
But where is the ongoing care for us?
That question is one of the reasons The Village exists.
I can bring my own experience, my practices and the things that have helped me and the mothers I've worked with.
But I can't — and shouldn't — be the whole village.
So I've invited some very special women to join me.

Host, practitioner, mother
Chiara
Meet the wider Village
I've invited women I trust to become part of the wider Village.
They are mothers themselves. They are experts in their fields. And they haven't been chosen simply because their work happens to be “motherhood-related”.
They are women I trust, whose voices I want you to hear.

Ella
Birth Story Alchemy
INNATE postpartum care provider and cognitive hypnotherapist.
Ella creates space to look at the stories we carry from birth and motherhood, and what might happen when we finally have somewhere safe to put them down.
What I really want The Village to give you...
isn't a long list of things to do.
It's a different experience of motherhood.
I want you to have somewhere to land.
Somewhere to come when your shoulders are tight, your head is full, or you simply realise you've spent another week looking after everyone except yourself.
I want you to have practices you can reach for without needing an hour, a quiet house or a perfect routine.
I want you to be able to ask a question and have someone knowledgeable help you think it through.
I want you to discover things about your body and wellbeing that might genuinely make everyday life easier.
I want you to meet other mothers who don't need you to explain everything.
And I want you to know that if you disappear for a few weeks because life gets busy, the Village will still be here when you come back.
Because that's what a village should be.
Not another commitment. Somewhere you can return to.

What does the year actually look like?
Nine months might sound like a long time.
But The Village isn't designed to give you nine months of things to keep up with.
Each month has a handful of anchor points — opportunities to practise, connect, ask questions and receive support — alongside resources you can access in your own time.
You can join what works for you, miss what doesn't, and come back whenever you need to.

Nine months.
NOV → DEC → JAN → FEB → MAR → APR → MAY → JUN → JUL
Because motherhood doesn't fit neatly into a three-week transformation.
There will be months when you feel ready to make changes.
Months when you have more energy.
Months when you are simply surviving the school run, work, dinner and bedtime.
That's precisely why I wanted The Village to last nine months.
Long enough to become part of real life.
You can dip in. Step away.
Come back. Try something new.
Ask for help. Find your feet again.
And keep returning to the same simple idea:
You matter here too.
This is for you if...
You love your children fiercely.
You are good at looking after everyone else.
You might have become very good at putting yourself somewhere near the bottom of the list.
Maybe you're tired of knowing what you should do, but never quite finding the space to do it.
Maybe you miss your body.
Maybe you miss yourself.
Maybe you have questions you've been meaning to ask someone.
Maybe you're carrying physical changes, tension, pain or emotions that deserve more attention than you've had the capacity to give them.
Or maybe nothing is particularly “wrong”.
You just know that you don't want the next few years of motherhood to pass with you permanently last on your own list.
You don't need another challenge.
You don't need to become a better version of yourself.
You need somewhere to be supported.
Imagine instead...
Imagine knowing where to turn when you need something.
A practice when your body feels stiff.
A little space when your head feels full.
A trusted voice when you have a question.
An expert when you need something more specific.
A group of women who understand the strange combination
of loving motherhood and sometimes finding it incredibly hard.
And a place that doesn't disappear after three weeks.
A village that is there for the long game.
This is the reason The Village exists.
Not to give you more to keep up with.
Not to tell you how to be a better mother.
Not to fix you.
But to bring together the support, knowledge, practices
and people you might otherwise have to spend years searching for yourself.
And to give you somewhere to return to, again and again, as motherhood changes.
Because you shouldn't have to wait until you're completely depleted before someone asks:
“And how are you?”
Creating the village we don't have.

Before you decide...

FAQ
What exactly is The Village?
It's a 9-months online signature programme for mothers which offers tailored movement, expert advice, and connection opportunities. It is specially designed to fit around motherhood (not the other way around!)
When does The Village start and finish?
Next cohort runs from 13 November 2026 to 13 August 2027
How much time do I need to commit each week?
There isn't a set number of hours you need to complete each week. Throughout the programme, there will be anchor live sessions as well as self-paced resources...so you have something to look forward to, but also the possibility to follow only when you feel like/have the time for it.
Do I have to attend the live sessions?
No. Live sessions are there to create community, connection, and individual feedback. There will always be a recording available to you if you don't make it.
What happens if I miss a month or go away?
Nothing. You don't fall behind. You simply come back when you're ready.
Is it suitable if my child isn't a baby anymore?
Absolutely. The programme is suitable to all mothers.
Is it suitable if I am pregnant?
Yes, but... where needed, I will point you towards alternative resources, so you can practice movements that are better suitable to the pregnant body and still get the most out of the programme.
Do I need to have done the 21-Day Reset before joining?
No. The self-paced Reset is already included in The Village. Yours for life.
Is The Village therapy/medical care?
The Village provides education, wellbeing support and signposting, but isn't a replacement for personalised medical/therapeutic care.
Can I work with the expert women individually?
Yes. And based on their individual availability, you will be able to access their services at a discounted rate whilst on the programme.
How many people will be joining?
Places are limited to 8-12 mothers for each cohort.
Still unsure if this is right for you?
